Amazing sights! I wish our culture followed that Byzantine habit of decorating every available surface.
That concrete/stone slab with a pipe pouring water from the mountain into a roadside trough – Albania has those too. Have you seen them in other countries you’ve passed through?
There are quite a few continuously running springs with pipes like this, especially in the mountains of Georgia, although this is the only one I specifically remember. Our friend’s house in Leliani had one in their back yard. It drained in a trough along the house and into a stream that ran through the front yard.
